Pool Phone #: 234-9952
Season: The pool is open with Lifeguards on duty from Memorial Day weekend in May until Labor Day weekend in September.
Lifeguard Hours:
Mon - Thurs from 10 am until 8 pm
Fri & Sat from 10 am until 9 pm
Sun from 1 pm until 8 pm
Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by adults in the pool area. At age 10, if they would like to attend the pool during pool hours (when lifeguards are present) without an adult, they must pass a swim test given by the lifeguards.
After Hours: The pool is accessible until 10 pm by those residents and their guests age 21 years of age and older on a "Swim At Your Own Risk" basis!
Lessons may be taught by lifeguards, swim team coaches, and neighborhood residents qualified to teach.
Restrooms require a combination to enter. Ask a lifeguard on duty for the combination. Please review simple rules with your children regarding being respectful of bathrooms and property as well as the safe use of the bathroom facilities.
Our lifeguards are charged with the responsibility of keeping our pool area and all who are there safe - that is their # 1 priority! They are certified with infant, pediatric, and adult CPR as well as basic lifesaving skills. When they are on duty, their direction and instructions must be followed. Please treat them with respect and ask your children to do the same!
Lifeguards are responsible for opening and closing our pools each day; properly maintaining the pool and water chemistry; and keeping the pool, deck area, and bathrooms clean. While lifeguards are not on break, they should either be on guard-duty or attending to the needs of the pool, bathrooms, and/or deck.
If you have any questions or concerns about pool safety, or about lifeguard responsibilities and decisions, please talk to the Pool Manager (who is also a lifeguard) or contact a member of the Pool Committee. A listing of these members can be found here. Concerns regarding maintenance issues outside lifeguard duties, such as lightbulbs that need resplacing, damaged furniture, etc. should be directed to the Property Manager at C. Dan Joyner Property Manager. Click here for that person's contact information.
Guests may visit the pool with residents at no charge, although when your family hosts more than five (5) guests, as you might for a birthday party, you then must follow the procedures for renting the clubhouse or cabana and hiring additional lifeguards!
